Taiwan has Hello Kitty, the US has Zhu Zhu Pets and Zhu Zhu Pets Babies!

I don’t believe American business men will start wearing Zhu Zhu Pet clothes or bring their lunch to work in Zhu Zhu Pet lunch pails (as the Taiwanese people do with Hello Kitty items). America has a long way to go before it considers itself a "culture of cute".

Zhu Zhu Pets are selling out everywhere!

Buying a Zhu Zhu Pet can be quite a task, especially around the holidays. This is because having a Zhu Zhu Pet or a Zhu Zhu Pet Baby is all the rage these days. Kids want them more than any other toy available on the market. This is due to a number of reasons.

  1. The first Zhu Zhu Pets were launched in Phoenix and were such a hit that Cepia, LLC (a 6 year old company with 16 employees, based out of Missouri) re-launched more products to fit the demand of the consumers and distributed the Zhu Zhu Pets nationally.
  2. Retailers initially made small purchase orders in fear of the economic recession, and for fear of over-stocking the item.
  3. Once the Zhu Zhu Pets began selling out nationwide, it was a mad race for retailers to order more before Christmas rush.

Zhu Zhu Pets months after the Christmas rush are still one of the most in-demand toys for young children across America. There's a good chance that your child received a Zhu Zhu Pet during the 2009 Christmas season. In fact my 6 year old daughter just had me put fresh batteries in her Zhu Zhu Pet for a Monday morning Zhu Zhu Pet race at he school. This shows just how popular and in demand these little toys have become.

No matter where you seem to look, Zhu Zhu Pets, their babies, and their accessories are flying off the shelf in the US and abroad. This can make it hard to get a hold of Zhu Zhu Pets or accessories you want to purchase. But if you look in the right places you can still find these little guys. Online shopping seems to be the best place to find these little guys (rather than driving around town). Sadly, retailers of Zhu Zhu Pets are often out of stock.

Amazon sells Zhu Zhu Pets in their store directly but appears to still be a bit pricey. You can also buy Zhu Zhu Pets here. They are in high demand, but because there are a variety of vendors on this site this allows you to buy a Zhu Zhu Pet at a great price!! Buying at online retailers, instead of searching all over the city seems to be the best way to save time, money and frustration.

Owning a Zhu Zhu Pet or Zhu Zhu Babies is really good for children. They will not have to take on any of the hard responsibilities that come with owning a real hamster. It's also worry free (and stick-free) that their child will not accidentally harm their pet hamster.

Owning a Zhu Zhu Pet is inexpensive and you can buy all the accessories in order to build yourself the perfect Hamster Habitat! There's all kinds of fun accessories like; baby strollers, a wheel and tunnel, surf boards, boats, cars... you name it!! Everything that you would normally find available for your pet hamster in a pet store, only cheaper.
